Marjorie Imus' passion for flowers blossomed
out of the organic Farming business she ran
with her husband for 15 years. As he
continued to farm full-time, Marjorie branched
out to selling flower arrangements at local
farmers' markets.
Over time, she built repeat clients, began designing for
events, restaurants, parties and more. In response to her
success as a floral designer and her love for all things
botanical, Marjorie opened MingleWood Flowers, Plants &
Gifts in October 2005.
Now, well-established in the greater Triad, MingleWood
specializes in unique flower arrangements and planters,
special events and gifts for the garden lover. Clients
include Wake Forest University, Bowman Gray Medical
School, Hanesbrand, and Graylyn Hotel & Conference
Center. In addition to corporate clients and restaurants,
MingleWood also provides daily deliveries for all occasions.
Marjorie is a graduate of Haywood Community College in
Clyde, N.C. She lives on her farm in Westfield, N.C. with her
husband and two children
